Public Events Committee
About the Committee:
The New Milford Public Events Committee organizes all public observances. This includes the Memorial Day parade and the ceremonies after the parade, 4th of July, Veterans Day, and the New Milford Holiday Tree Lighting.
The Committee meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month and consists of 4 members who are appointed yearly. The Committee has tried to make all the town ceremonies, resident friendly using the Girl and Boy Scouts, local residents and high school students.
